A general guide to our Pet / House Sitting Service

 

  • Our service is to take care of the pets
  • The daily rate and travel fee quoted is non-negotiable
  • An interview will always be at your home where we meet you and your pets
  • The rate quoted telephonically shall be confirmed at interview
  • Extra services require an increase in our daily rate
  • Access for us to your home (keys, remotes) are your responsibility to arrange
  • At your request we shall give you references to contact. Those you are referred to will coincide with clients we have sat for before
  • Unless we arrange a specific time for our arrival at your home on the day the Pet /House Sit Booking commences we shall arrive at your home between 6.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m.
  • Unless we arrange a specific time for our departure from your home on the day the Pet/House Sit Booking terminates we shall leave your home after the morning routine, generally by 9 a.m. ish
  • Should you request that we arrive at your home before 6.00 p.m. or request that we depart your home after 9.00 a.m. a full daily rate will be added
  • Should the Pet/House Sit extend in any way during the Booking, the balance to be settled at the end of the Booking
  • Should there be an increase in our daily rate this rate will apply even though the Booking is penciled in for confirmation or already confirmed for a much later date. We shall notify you well in advance
  • We shall occupy your home at night
  • Your home and pets are seldom left alone for long periods of time
  • Although our presence usually deters crime we do not provide security. We are not responsible for any theft on your premises
  • Please leave specific written instructions, Routine Sheet (include garbage collection day, alarm details), the maid/gardener working days, contact telephone numbers, emergency phone numbers.
  • We are not responsible for the maid/gardener in any way whatsoever. Should the Booking include this service there is an extra charge Unless we know who is due to and when, enter your premises, we will not let anyone onto your property
  • We live discretely in your home. We shall leave your home as we find it
  • Payment for each Booking paid in EFT, in full, in advance for the full period booked at the pre-arranged rate per day in our bank account. We shall email an Invoice/Receipt before.
  • Our general service includes that we Sleep Over / Pet Care (food and water)
  • Should the Booking date be changed or cancelled, within ten (10) days before the Pet/House Sit Booking is due, the full Booking Fee is due.
  • Please tell us if we should use up any food which will spoil if not eaten
  • Please ensure that there is sufficient food for the pets for the duration of the Booking
  • Please ensure there is emergency lighting in the home in the event of a power failure
  • We shall ask permission that a friend may visit at your home
  • If there is a fixed line telephone we shall use a World Call Card to make necessary private calls

 

We shall confirm that we may use your internet service It is suggested that our services be booked well in advance even though confirmed later
